Speaker: We've a very interesting experience to present today, a remarkable recovery from defacing injuries received in an accident. The woman who experienced this healing is going to tell you about it. This is Mrs. Madelin Percival of Birmingham, Michigan.

Mrs. Percival: I believe the most important part of my experience was not the physical healing, although it was a wonderful one. But along with it came an awakening, a complete change in my outlook on life—my job, my social life, and the things I thought were really worthwhile.

You see, I'd been taught the rules and standards of Christian Science at home, but when I went away to secretarial school, I didn't really follow the things I'd been taught; popularity seemed very important, and I didn't think I needed anything else. And, frankly, I attached a lot of importance to physical appearance.
