RADIO PROGRAM No. 213 - Healing of Fever and Convulsions

Speaker: We're calling this program "Healing of Fever and Convulsions." Our guest had an interesting experience along this line. He'll tell you about it, and then I'll make some comments. Now I'd like you to meet John Coolidge of Fort Dodge, Iowa.

Mr. Coolidge: My mother was a widow with three children, and during the summer I earned money so I could go to college. This particular summer I had a job in a meat-packing plant, and it was hot and very strenuous work. I was on the job for about six weeks, and then I became quite ill. I went to bed with a very high fever and convulsions. Christian Science treatment was begun immediately. Our whole family were students of this religion.

In the week that followed, a close friend with medical training, the government meat inspector at the plant, called on me. He said that the symptoms indicated Malta fever, which I believe is now called undulant fever, among other names.
