Our Literature Is Spreading the Gospel of Love
The distribution of Christian Science literature offers limitless opportunities to bring Christian Science to those ready for the truth. Many are the healings and far-reaching is the regeneration wrought by this activity when prayerfully carried on by our church committees. Our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, says in "Miscellaneous Writings" (p. 313), "The field waves its white ensign, the reapers are strong, the rich sheaves are ripe, the storehouse is ready pray ye therefore the God of harvest to send forth more laborers of the excellent sort, and garner the supplies for a world."
The following reports illustrate the good which is being accomplished through this distribution work. The first is an account of what is being done in a harbor city of the United States in supplying freight steamers with our literature.
"During the past shipping season, the Christian Science churches of this city, together with several neighboring churches, extended the distribution of Christian Science literature to include the Great Lakes freighters which pass through this port.
