I am impelled to write this testimony...

I am impelled to write this testimony because of the many proofs of God's love which have come to me during many years. I am grateful for the opportunity I had to attend a Christian Science Sunday School. When first introduced to Science, my mother was healed of a distressing condition of rheumatism. She was most desirous to have her children learn more about the religion which she had found so practical for herself. In the years I attended the Sunday School, I learned many basic truths, which later helped me in the business world and in seeking a career that has been rewarding as well as satisfying in applying the talents I possess.

Later I was led, through the desire for added growth in Christian Science, to take class instruction. This enlightening experience proved to be a most helpful guide in giving me a firmer understanding of the fundamental truths I had learned in the Sunday School and enabled me to demonstrate to a greater degree that man is the perfect idea of God, expressing the health and happiness supplied by his creator.

In the years which have passed I have found Christian Science meeting my every need as I have applied the truths found in the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. At times physical ills have been healed through my own efforts. One that yielded very quickly was a condition which manifested itself one morning when I arose and went to work. It was a sharp pain in the abdominal region of my body, and it continued for some time.
