It has been my privilege to read and enjoy the testimonies in the Christian Science periodicals for many years, and it is with unbounded gratitude that I add this testimony to the many which I have found so helpful.

When my husband's sister was given up by physicians because of an injury to her spine and internal organic complications, Christian Science was presented to her. As a last resort she decided to try it. A Christian Science practitioner was called, and treatment was lovingly given. The patient slept normally that night for the first time in many weeks, and in the morning her system began to function in a normal manner. Within a short time all signs of the difficulties were entirely eradicated, and she took over her normal household duties once more.

Needless to say, this complete healing made a great impression on my husband and me, and we began to study Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy so that we could understand how it was accomplished. We learned from our study how to know God better and how to pray effectively. In addition, we gained a deeper appreciation of the Bible and began to realize that the wonderful promises and truths contained therein are as applicable today as in Bible times. A new way of life was opened to us, and we began attending a Church of Christ, Scientist, and enrolled our three children in the Sunday School.
