[Translated from Swedish]

A dedication service is being held today by Christian Science Society, Malmö, in its church edifice,13 Mäster Henriksgatan. The church building which was erected on land obtained for the purpose under agreement with the city of Malmö was finished in 1938....

In 1921 some people interested in Christian Science gathered for regular services in a small home in Malmö. After a few years this proved to be too small, and a hall was hired in the basement of the building at 2 Klostergatan, and later a large, light hall at 21 Davids-hallsgatan. In both locations a Reading Room was maintained, open to the public, where authorized Christian Science literature was available.

In September, 1927, the first steps toward organization were taken, and in January, 1934, [the group] was recognized as a branch of The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts, under the title, Christian Science Society, Malmö .... Sunday School activities began in the fall of 1934.

The church edifice .... includes, beside a church auditorium, a Sunday School room and a Reading Room.
