THE OPPOSITE OF SOMETHINGNESS IS NOTHINGNESS

The opposite of somethingness
Is nothingness—
A cipher posed against infinity
(And posed as well
Against the infinitesimal.
For maximum and minimum
Are one).

All seeing, moving, having, being, knowing,
Abide as somethingness,
And leave of nothingness
No point to serve as center
Of a dreamed circumference.

When Word of God
Blazes as golden sun
In sky of Mind,
Then all dark words of dream
Vanish,
And all their symbols wane.
