"LORD, SAVE ME"
I seemed
to be adrift upon
a fearful, anxious sea,
where winds and waves of false beliefs
deluged and frightened me.
I prayed, then felt within myself
Truth's answer from without,
"O thou of little faith wherefore
didst thou have any doubt?"
The firm, strong hand of Love stretched forth
and caught me in its grasp,
uplifted and directed me
and held me in its clasp.
The boisterous fears and doubts dissolved
as resolute I stood,
sustained by Life's protecting calm
of omnipresent good.
