RADIO PROGRAM No. 79 - Reliance on God Brings Healing

On this program George D. Moffett, Jr., of Huntington, West Virginia, told of his own experience, as follows:

One morning while shaving some years ago, I noticed a small spot on my forehead where the skin was not normal. It didn't bother me in the summer, but for the next several winters it grew larger, in spite of the fact that I frequently used creams and salves.

During all that time I did what I could to control this trouble, but when it reached my eyelids and ears, I decided to see a skin specialist. In great distress I called on a highly recommended dermatologist. Having diagnosed my case as a form of eczema, the only consolation he could give me was that, by living under a layer of salve for the rest of my life, I might, with luck, confine the blemish to my face. Even at that, I accepted a prescription for an ointment that I hoped, forlornly, might bring about the cure that was not promised.
