TESTIFY IN THE LORD
Ephesians 4:17
I held
my pen to witness with a word,
and even then an angel light appeared
illumining the truth that had been blurred
by human authorship. The meaning shone
to give some needy one a helping hand,
to heal and bless according to command.
I stood to speak of Mind and boldly face
the facts of healing Love, and even then
an angel thought expressed itself with grace:
Testify that man is ever free
and knows his right to live eternally.
I took my stand to witness of God's love
with simple, steadfast living of the Word
without a spoken argument; to prove
that loving thought of God and man would bless.
Then as the flower turns meekly to the light,
so blessing came, unfolding Spirit's might.
