CAREER
When we think of a career, we think of those events which made the individual great and successful. We think of it in terms of talent, opportunity, or education. Without the guidance of Christian Science one is at the beck and call of so-called mortal mind and success is speculative. Christian Science reveals man's career to be dependent upon spiritual qualities and spiritual understanding.
Christ Jesus was the most successful man who ever trod the earth. Yet he possessed few material advantages. He never sought wealth, fame, or social prestige; in fact, he avoided them. His career was not in mortal mind, but in the unfoldment of God's purpose for man. He said (Matt. 6:33), "Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."
