Many years ago I experienced an instantaneous healing of the effects of scarlet fever. A loving practitioner helped me through hardships and discouragement, and I wish to acknowledge my debt of gratitude to her. She was an early worker in Christian Science, and her allegiance to Mrs. Eddy's teachings was Christian in every detail. My acquaintance with her left me with a deep respect and love for her.

My four children had their training in the Christian Science Sunday School, and now their children are being taught the truths contained in the Bible and in Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy.

The beauty, order, and loving hospitality of Churches of Christ, Scientist, that I have observed in my travels have made a lasting impression on me. How deeply grateful I am for the oneness of purpose of the many workers throughout the world in their unselfish efforts to promote the Cause founded by our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy! As she reminds us (Miscellaneous Writings, p. 206): "The real Christian Scientist is constantly accentuating harmony in word and deed, mentally and orally, perpetually repeating this diapason of heaven: 'Good is my God, and my God is good.
