It is with heartfelt praise and gratitude to God that I attest to the healing efficacy of Christian Science. When our youngest child was four months old, we had a woman helping me take care of him. While bathing him one evening she turned away for a moment, and he fell to the tile floor, striking his head a hard blow.

When the woman handed the motionless child to me, I wrapped him in a blanket and refused to look at the sense testimony. I immediately started to work in Christian Science, declaring aloud the allness of God and the fact that His child could not be separated from Him for even a moment. I knew that the baby was in reality God's child, not mine, and that he forever dwelt in divine, consciousness, living, moving, and having his being in God.

Although our other two children were rather young, they were being brought up in Christian Science and had attended the Sunday School since they were seventeen months old; so I asked them to help by going to their room and declaring the truth for the baby. For a long time I walked the floor with the baby on my shoulder. At last I heard a faint cry, and I sat down and gave thanks to Almighty God for His ever-present help.
