"A WORLD MORE BRIGHT"

Humanity is longing for a brighter view of life, for freedom from fear, pain, sorrow, disappointment, and lack; in other words, it longs to be able to enjoy perfect good. Christian Science not only teaches that there is a way to attain such desire, but also teaches that such desire is in accord with the will of God. It matters not whether the problem is physical, moral, business, national or international. Christian Science over-rules fear and reveals vistas of harmony and peace for the troubled thought. It is based on oneness— one God, good, and one creation, God being infinite good, His creation must also be good, that is, must manifest infinite harmony. Likewise, God being omnipotent, His laws must be supreme.

Some almost insurmountable trouble has sometimes been instrumental in leading individuals to investigate Christian Science, this new-old religion which reveals that one is dependent not on matter but on spiritual understanding for joy, health, and success. In Mary Baker Eddy's beautiful poem "Christ My Refuge" we read (Poems, p. 12),
