MAN'S HOME ADDRESS IS HEAVEN

There is no mightier builder and maintainer of homes than the spiritual understanding of home, made available to all in Christian Science. This understanding establishes happy households, where gracious and abundant living may go hand in hand with sturdy spiritual growth. And it protects what it has established. It effectively dispels sickness, lack, heartbreak, the aggression of materiality and evil in all their forms; and in doing this it transforms even these into new occasions for growth and unfoldment.

Over a period of several years the writer and his wife saw their home wonderfully sustained by Christian Science in the face of severe and prolonged illness. They received a medical verdict that the condition was apparently incurable and could not be cared for at home. But they did care for it at home, and subsequently they saw healing achieved through the sole action of Christian Science.

Later the opportunity came for them to make a big change of location in order to undertake new progressive activity. While on shipboard crossing the Atlantic, they were given a form to fill in which contained the question, '"What is your home address?" Then they realized that, for the first time, they could not answer this question in any human sense. They had surrendered their apartment in the Old World and had not even started looking for one in the New.
