Many years ago I had a wonderful proof of the healing power of Christian Science. A child who was a relative of mine was taken ill with such a severe case of St. Vitus's dance that she had practically no control of her limbs. As she had been put in my care, I decided to take her to the country. After requesting a consecrated practitioner to help the child, I took her with me to a farm, leaving my children at home with their father. She was with me day and night, as I did not consider it safe to leave her alone. Through the work of the practitioner and our own constant and prayerful study of Mary Baker Eddy's wonderful textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," the child regained her normal action. She once again expressed sound health, and the healing has remained perfect.

Mrs. Eddy says (ibid., pp. 470, 471), "The relations of God and man, divine Principle and idea, are indestructible in Science; and Science knows no lapse from nor return to harmony, but holds the divine order or spiritual law, in which God and all that He creates are perfect and eternal, to have remained unchanged in its eternal history."
