Because I have received so much help from reading the testimonies in our periodicals, I should like to share with others some of the many blessings which have come to me. For sixty years I had been troubled with coughs and colds. After I took up the study of Christian Science they became less frequent, and for the past two years I have been tirely free from them. This has been a wonderful experience to me, and words cannot express my gratitude.

During spring cleaning one year I slipped on a polished floor and fell heavily, striking my temple on the door facing. For a moment there was intense pain. As I picked myself up this angel message came to me (Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, p. 470): "Has God taken down His own standard, and has man fallen?" I replied aloud: "No, God has not taken down His own standard. Man has not fallen, and there can be no effect from something that never happened." That was the end of the matter; there was no shock, no more pain, and only the very faintest discoloration.

According to the last chapter of the Gospel of John, our Master said to his disciples (verse 6), "Cast the net on the right side of the ship and ye shall find." And on page 261 of Science and Health we read, "Hold thought steadfastly to the enduring, the good, and the true, and you will bring these into your experience proportinably to their occupancy of your thoughts." I have endeavored to do this, and as a result many blessings have come to me. One of them was that I received a sum of money from a most unexpected source at a time of need.
