For nearly forty years I have experienced the blessings of Christian Science. My interest in it began when my husband and I moved next door to a practitioner. At the time I was suffering much from chronic constipation. The practitioner sensed that things were not harmonious with me, and one morning she said, "Now, my dear, what seems to be the trouble?"

Because she said "what seems to be," I was a little irritated, and I replied, "Well, nothing 'seems to be," but I am so bowed down all the time with discomfort that I am tired of life."

"Would you like to try my remedy?" she asked. "It heals every disease that mankind has." I was all attention at once, thinking her doctor had some kind of material treatment I had not yet tried, and I told her I should like to try her remedy. She said that she was very busy with those who came to her for treatment but that she would call me soon. Immediately I felt better than I had for many months.
