I did not take up Christian Science when it was first presented to me, as I felt satisfied with my religion. Several years later I received a letter from a dear friend telling me about a wonderful healing she had had in Christian Science, and I was quite impressed by it. Some time afterward I became ill and needed help; so I decided to have treatment from a Christian Science practitioner.

I was so uplifted by the first treatment that I felt as though I were walking on air. I wanted to tell everybody about the wonderful truth that was giving me such joy and happiness. The Bible took on a new meaning when I read Mrs. Eddy's textbook, Science and Health, which is indeed the key to the Scriptures. I studied Christian Science every spare moment, and it was in my thoughts day and night.

My physical condition improved, and I almost forgot my ailment. I had the complete healing later and a great many more healings as well. One was that of neuralgic headaches, to which I had been subject for years. Another was that of a deep cut on my finger. The pain was overcome instantly, and when the finger was bandaged I went about my housework with no discomfort. Within a week there was no trace of the cut. The experience which I am most grateful for was the replacing of resentment with a spirit of forgiveness and love.
