TRUTH IS OMNIACTIVE

It is greatly important to understand the spiritual idea of action; it expresses movement and continuity. Christ Jesus must have entertained the spiritual idea of action and movement when he said (John 16: 28), "I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father." In this statement can be traced the office of the Christ, its authorship, its action, and its divine destiny. Spiritual action expresses the truth concerning coming and going and reveals immortality.

Christ is the manifestation of God; its presence is felt in our midst, healing, saving, and regenerating mankind. It exists eternally in God and can never be separated from its divine origin or deprived of its divine destiny.

Man's true individuality is Christlike. This sacred individuality is our spiritual nature as God created it. A mortal and temporary sense of existence can never deprive us of our spiritual individuality. Christian Science reveals our true sonship with the Father. Quoting the Scriptures, Mary Baker Eddy says (Miscellaneous Writings, p. 185): "'As many as received him,' —as accept the truth of being,—'to them gave he power to become the sons of God.' The spiritualization of our sense of man opens the gates of paradise that the so-called material senses would close, and reveals man infinitely blessed, upright, pure, and free."
