Before I came into Christian Science...

Before I came into Christian Science I had had manifold illnesses, as well as operations for various troubles. But through the study and application of this Science I have had many years of joyous activity. It is wonderful to be free from fear and suffering. Other difficulties also have been met either by the help of practitioners or by my own work, and each experience has made me stronger in the truth.

While traveling in China, I suffered from a sudden severe illness. For a time I could not even read, as I was delirious; but I clung steadfastly to Truth, as we are taught to do in Science, and Love led me out of the darkness into the sunlight of awareness of the ever-presence of God, good, and I was able to continue my travels, rejoicing.

As I more and more realize my unity with divine Mind, living alone holds no fear for me. Again I can say that God, good, is always with me, and I appreciate so much living an active and useful life. I am grateful for the Christian Science literature and all the activities of The Mother Church. My gratitude to God knows no bounds.—(Mrs.) Elvie Davis, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
