That Christian Science heals...

That Christian Science heals, that Truth is omniactive, that the leavening power of Love is increasingly breaking down the barriers of evil, I am assured.

When I was an inquiring student in high school, this Science was first presented to me. I attended the Sunday School, did much questioning, and became completely satisfied that Christian Science is, indeed, the way of life. The wonders and blessings resulting from my acceptance of this religion have never ceased to fill me with gratitude. The route along the way has been rugged in places, progress has been slow at times, and the way fearsome and discouraging in spots, but I have never doubted the absolute fact that Christian Science is the Science of being, as Mrs. Eddy has so accurately termed it in Science and Health.

Through the years since that first awakening I have seen Christian Science at work in all the varied phases of human experience. I have raised a family through intimate acquaintance with God, assured of His ever-present love, guidance, protection, and sustenance. We have proved again and again the excellence and beneficence of Christian Science as a religion, a moral guide, and a healing agency. We have seen broken bones perfectly repaired, poor eyesight made faultless, diseased bodies restored to health. We have seen lack of home overcome, and employment has been supplied in abundance, through the steadfast acknowledgment and growing understanding of God's unlimited supply of good to His children. Even at the appearance of death, the sense of loss has been routed by a more positive realization of the Inseparability of God, or Life, and man. Above all stands the evidence of the unceasing, ever-present, ever-operating Truth and of man's unfailing receptivity to Truth.
