The mail received in the office of the Clerk of The Mother Church comes from all corners of the world and contains many heart-warming expressions of love and gratitude for Church membership. The following is from a new member residing overseas:
"It was an indescribable joy to me when I received news of my admission to membership. I shall prove my gratitude through loyalty to God, and I shall always remember my obligations to Christian Science and to our beloved Leader."
The way to this joy and gratitude is pointed out in the writings of the beloved Leader and Founder of Christian Science, Mary Baker Eddy, and they illumine the Scriptures, on which Christian Science is based.
