With deep gratitude for the many blessings that Christian Science has brought into my life, I submit the following testimony.

Prior to the time this truth was presented to me, over twenty-five years ago, I had had several unpleasant experiences with so-called Christian Scientists and was decidedly reluctant about relying upon what I supposed Christian Science to be. But my acute physical need overcame my hesitation, and as a result the healing of intercostal neuralgia, which materia medica had failed to relieve, was accomplished within a few days. Since that time Christian Science has been our constant guide and the only physician in our family of four, and we have received innumerable healings.

When our son, then an infant of seven or eight months, fell from a table to the floor, face downward, striking his eye on a two-inch square block, he was picked up unconscious, and a practitioner was called. Refusing to see the error and seating myself in a rocker with the child in my arms, I sang Mrs. Eddy's hymns over and over. In about twenty minutes the child stirred, and from that instant the healing was complete. Within two hours, when we kept an appointment, only one guest noticed the shadow where his face had struck the block. During World War II, this same son was beautifully protected during naval service in the South Pacific and manifested complete love and joy throughout his entire two years of service.
