GOD'S HARMLESS CREATURES

Sunday was always a happy day for Nancy and Peter. Today they had come running in after Sunday School to tell Mother that they had learned a new commandment, and Nancy laughingly related how Peter had got mixed up telling the story about Daniel: "He said there were tigers instead of lions in the den."

"But, Mother," Peter protested, "I knew Daniel hadn't been hurt, no matter what kind of silly old animals they were."

Mother put an arm around each of them. "You're right, Peter," she said. "It doesn't make any difference what the error seems to be that's bothering us; it isn't real and can't harm us. Now run along and play. We're going out to dinner today, and I think Daddy will be ready to leave in about an hour."
