WHAT CAN I GIVE?

One of the many lessons learned by the student of Christian Science is the art of true giving, which from a spiritual standpoint can only be associated with the true sense of loving. Let us look at some of the ways open to each one of us to give, and then we shall surely find many more we can make use of in our daily living. Acting unselfishly, giving without thought of return, comforting and uplifting others—all have their starting point in Spirit.

How good it is to realize that man is God's idea, and that each individual idea has its rightful place in Mind, is in perfect co-ordination and unity with every other idea, perfectly balanced, never taking anything from another, but all working together in harmony and in accordance with the law of Love —the infinite Giver of all good.

Christian Science is giving to us the ability to realize God's omniscience, omnipresence, and omnipotence which proves with certainty the utter unreality of evil beliefs.—Of all that claims to oppose this divine knowledge, presence, and power. Christian Science heals us of sickness, sorrow, or lack; it gives us the true idea of health, which is always mental and spiritual because it is a quality of Mind. It gives us the spiritual understanding by which we can prove that God is our infinite and ever-present supply; that He is our Friend, guide, and guardian. Thus we find ourselves able to have healthy interests and a healthy outlook, and so to give to others a happier and more wholesome sense of being. A student of Christian Science can be likened to a beacon whose light shines for all.
