A LITTLE GIRL LOSES HER FEAR OF DOGS

Wanda was afraid of dogs. If she saw one coming, she would run screaming to her mother, who could not quiet her until the Dog went away.

A friend who was a Christian Scientist came to live in Wanda's home. She shared with them many beautiful and helpful truths regarding God and man. She had learned these truths from her study of the Bible and the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy.

Wanda's mother had just begun to study the Lesson-Sermon in the Christian Science Quarterly, and she used to talk to Wanda about God and Christ Jesus. There are many lovely truths in the Bible stories which mothers and fathers and Sunday School teachers love to talk about with children. They are the best of all stories, and we like them more all the time. We can prove the truths in them for ourselves. As we do, we find that the help us every day to be brave, kind, and loving.
