So many blessings have been mine through the study of Christian Science that I want to add my testimony to the many helpful ones published in our periodicals.

The finding of proper employment has been an outstanding experience, showing the operation of God's law. At one time, when I had worked for a company for five years and there seemed little chance of advancement in either salary or position, discouragement and resentment crept into my thinking. Application was made with another company, which had more desirable working conditions, but there seemed to be no position open. This was on a Monday. On Wednesday evening, as usual, I attended church. One of the testimonies told how the speaker had finally realized that she was working for God, not in a certain location or in a particular office. This was sufficient to awaken me to clear my thinking. Resentment toward my employer was replaced with gratitude that I was working for God; discouragement was resolved into joy with the acknowledgment that there could be only progress in this work. My entire outlook was changed, and within a few days the new company called to know when I could go to work for them.

Since this time I have held other positions, each one being another proof of the spiritual facts regarding man's work; and I am grateful to say that each position has proved to be a step of progress. Throughout the years during which these changes have taken place, abundant supply has been experienced to such a degree that I can no longer doubt its true source to be God.
