It would be difficult to tell all that the study of Christian Science and the understanding of the Bible gained thereby have meant to me. There have been many instances of healing and correction of discordant conditions in my experience. Indeed, I cannot conceive how one could live without this understanding of the ever-presence and omnipotence of our Father-Mother God.

I have been healed of a sudden attack of bladder trouble. I began to know the truth as we are taught in Christian Science, called a practitioner, and then took my Bible and "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy to study. These words from Hebrews (4:12) were very clear to me: "For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." The condition was instantaneously healed, and I have never had the slightest trouble in that connection since then, over thirty years ago.

I am most grateful for a more recent healing of arthritis, which had caused great suffering, and for the healing of an ulcerated tooth. These healings did not come quickly, but with the help of a consecrated practitioner every vestige of the troubles disappeared.
