Lighthouse Keeper

ESTHER CHURCH

The lighthouse keeper ever tends his light,
So that its rays may find the rocks unseen.
To guide the mariners throughout the night,
He keeps the prisms radiant and clean.

Oh, make me keeper, God, forevermore—
That storm-tossed mariners may reach Thy shore.
