A short paragraph which appeared in one of your recent issues draws attention to the meeting of a study circle at which Christian Science was criticized.

I would point out that Christian Science is not merely a philosophy of cheerful living and optimistic thinking, as the critic implies, but a spiritual revelation of profound significance to the race. It is a discovery of supreme importance, which unlocks the treasures of the Scriptures and reveals their spiritual meaning and application in human affairs.
