I had the privilege of attending a Christian Science Sunday School from the time I was eight years of age up to the age limit, and for thirty years Christian Science has been my only physician. It guided me in the choice of a life partner who is a consecrated worker, and it has brought great happiness into our home.

Among the healings I have received are those of scalds, a skin eruption, blood poisoning, influenza, constipation, an internal injury as a result of a fall, a stomach disorder, and many minor ailments. False traits of character have also been obliterated through its regenerating power.

The healing of influenza was an outstanding experience. My father, who was not a Christian Scientist, wanted to call a physician, but my mother placed her reliance on God. My father yielded to my mother's request to call a Christian Science practitioner, but stated that if I were not better by the end of the week he would call a physician. Several days passed, and there was no improvement in my condition. The night before the week expired, a crisis occurred, but the practitioner reassured us that I was safe in God's care and that Truth is equal to any emergency. The next morning, much to the astonishment of my father, I was up and dressed, and in a few days I was fully recovered.
