Refuge

MAE TUCKER

No structure mortal hands may raise
Will shield mankind from fear;
It threads the highest citadel
That artifice can rear.

Built strong on faith's enduring rock,
And present everywhere,
Are unseen walls encircling those
Who look to God in prayer.
