Gratitude for the many testimonies...
Gratitude for the many testimonies of healing I have read in the Christian Science periodicals prompts me to relate my healing.
From childhood I had never been strong, and, my father being a druggist, I was given tonic after tonic to restore health. When I reached girlhood, conditions grew worse. I was forced to give up attending school and was tutored at home. Several of our local physicians had prescribed for me, and finally a relative mentioned Christian Science. With the consent of my parents, a practitioner began work, and, although the healings came gradually, there was a noticeable improvement right from the start.
I shall never cease to sing praises to God, and be grateful to the one who presented Christian Science to me, and to the patient practitioner who taught me that "the way to extract error from mortal mind is to pour in truth through flood-tides of Love" (Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, p. 201).
