Lecturer: Colin Rücker Eddison; introduced by Mrs. Ellen E. Soulby, who said:—

In the Bible we read, "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest," and in the Preface to "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" Mary Baker Eddy writes (p. vii), "To those leaning on the sustaining infinite, to-day is big with blessings."

I can testify that these promises are applicable here and now, for ever since I was a young child I have seen the healing power of Christian Science at work and experienced its blessings. I have seen worry, cares, and sorrow overcome, and physical ailments of many kinds healed.

The disappearance of an abscess in a tooth which was clearly shown in an X-ray photo, the healing of a severe case of Asiatic cholera, and the perfect setting of a broken bone without any medical aid, these and many other healings I have seen accomplished by absolute reliance on God.
