God's Ever-presence

Many great historic characters, and countless others, have been strengthened and encouraged in times of stress by the consciousness of God's presence.

The Outstretched Arm of Love

In her Message to The Mother Church for 1901, our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, says.

"What lack I yet?"

The rich young man who inquired of Jesus what good thing he should do that he might have eternal life, and who, replying to Jesus' admonition to "keep the commandments," declared that he had done this throughout his life, asked, "What lack I yet?

Overcoming Fear

Fear originates in the contention that evil, matter, and its so-called laws are real, powerful, and irresistible; that they are self-acting, self-existent, and entirely independent of God, good—out of His jurisdiction.

"The heights of Mind"

A STUDENT of Christian Science found much of interest one morning in a beautiful descriptive advertisement of a new stratoliner, made to fly thousands of feet higher than the usual airplane.

"After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven.

Sunday School Notes and Comments

A teacher in our Sunday school is finding the Glossary in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy a source of great revelation and inspiration.
The first time I read in "Science and Health with Key to Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy.
In 1930, while living in a city on the Pacific Coast, I had reached such a stage of physical incapacity that chronic invalidism was thought to be inevitable.

Christian Science was brought to...

Christian Science was brought to my attention through the healing of a close friend of a severe case of chronic indigestion.
Ever since I could remember, my mother had taken me to doctors and clinics because of delicate health, and when I was sixteen years old, our family physician told my mother that I had a tendency toward tuberculosis, and recommended that I be sent to a dry climate.
For the numerous blessings that I have been privileged to receive through God's healing power, I have vowed repeatedly that I would, in part, pay my gratitude to God, Christian Science, and practitioners, by giving testimony, and in this way share my experience with others.
As one who has experienced the blessings of Christian Science from the age of about six, I can testify to its unfailing help in all circumstances.
My first healing through Christian Science came some years ago.
About eight years ago, as I sought the true spirit of the Christ, my attention was turned to Christian Science when I read "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, which a neighbor had lent me.
