My humble desire and hope in giving this testimony is that it may be a help to someone seeking the truth. I have received many blessings through the study and application of Christian Science.

About sixteen years ago a red spot became evident on my face. My husband was not in sympathy with Christian Science and insisted on my consulting a medical doctor, which I did. He pronounced it cancer. He froze it and cut it out, but in about a year it came back. I went to another doctor, who examined it and said that nothing would do it any good except violet ray or X ray. I then turned unreservedly to Christian Science. One day, about nine months later, the growth completely fell out, and I was healed. The joy and peace I then experienced words cannot express. The healing seemed slow, but the study and insight I received during the healing were worth more to me than all else. I have also been healed of blood poisoning and of intestinal influenza.

I am grateful to the practitioners who so lovingly help us on our journey from sense to Soul. I am also grateful for class instruction under one of Mrs. Eddy's pupils, for being a member of The Mother Church, and for all the activities of the Christian Science movement. I am deeply grateful to God; to Christ Jesus, our Way-shower; and to Mrs. Eddy, whose pure thought gave to the world Christian Science.
