It is with sincerest gratitude to God and to Mary Baker Eddy, our revered Leader, that I give this testimony.

From childhood I was seeking to know God; I read the Bible daily, and would read anything pertaining to God, but not until the Christmas of 1930, when I first heard of Christian Science, was I satisfied. During a visit I saw the textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, and after reading the first pages, I was convinced I had found the truth concerning God and His creation. When leaving I was given a Journal and a few Sentinels.

In February, 1931, I went to see a practitioner and had a long, helpful talk. I also bought a copy of the textbook, and I can now testify with much gratitude that I have found the truth. It has been a most wonderful revelation, and the Bible is a new book to me; I have a different outlook on life.
