It is with sincere gratitude for the many blessings that have come through Christian Science to my wife, our two sons, and myself, that I give this testimony. I came to know the benefits of Christian Science when it was drawn to my attention by a dear friend in the year 1915. I was healed then of the liquor habit, which had made me its slave. The healing has been permanent throughout the years.

Eleven years later, I was healed of a severe case of pneumonia; following this I was healed of a hernia of twenty years' standing, and at the same time I was healed of the tobacco habit, in which I had indulged since I was a boy in high school. All these healings have been permanent. I was healed of a dislocated shoulder, and numerous cases of colds have been overcome. Our two sons have had wonderful protection and help, and have learned to rely on divine Love for guidance in their daily lives.

Divine Love has given us everything we possess. When trials come, we know that if we realize that "trials are proofs of God's care," as Mrs. Eddy says on page 66 of Science and Health, we are fully protected.
