The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts, announces a free public lecture on Christian Science by George Channing, a member of The Christian Science Board of Lectureship, in the Church Edifice, at Norway, Falmouth, and St. Paul Streets, on Monday evening, January 27, 1941, at 7.45 o'clock. The public is cordially invited.

This lecture will be radiocast by short wave Station WRUL and its companion transmitter, WRUW, Boston, on wave lengths of 49.6 meters (6.04 megacycles) and 25.6 meters (11.73 megacycles), used simultaneously. The beam antennas will be directed so that the 49.6 meters wave length will be heard better in the British Isles and South Africa, while listeners in Mexico, Central America, Bermuda, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, the British West Indies, and South America will probably be able to tune more satisfactorily to the 25.6 meters wave length. The 25.6 meters wave length should be heard well throughout the United States and Canada, and the 49.6 meters wave length in the United States east of the Mississippi River and in Eastern Canada. However, if the broadcast on one wave length does not come in well, the other may be tried.

At 7.15 p.m., Eastern Standard Time, the organ music preceding the introduction of the lecturer at 7.45 p.m. will be radiocast, and Stations WRUL and WRUW will give their call letters from time to time to assist listeners in properly tuning their radio sets in advance of the lecture.
