I wish to express my sincere gratitude for Christian Science, which came to me in answer to prayer. I had been sick for several months, and although I had good doctors and also a specialist, I seemed to be getting worse. I had two young boys and wanted to be able to care for them. One day, when I seemed worse, I turned completely to God, and sincerely asked Him to show me what to do.

A few days later a salesman came to talk to my husband about fixtures for our store, which we were rebuilding. Learning of my illness, he told my husband about Christian Science. He was so convincing that my husband came home that night filled with the truth, and I roused myself to ask him about it. It was so contrary to my old beliefs that, like Jacob of old, I lay wrestling with them until nearly morning, when I slept for two hours. When I awakened, my first thought was, Of course it is true!

I then took up the study of Christian Science, and with the help of a kind practitioner I was soon able to be around the house, and gradually able to do the housework.
