The Sunbeam Remains a Sunbeam

[Written Especially for Young People]

It is well for the young Christian Scientist to watch his thoughts very carefully in order to avoid accepting any undesirable suggestion.

Consider the action of the sunbeam. If a sunbeam comes in contact with mud, it never becomes other than a sunbeam. No matter how long the contact, the sunbeam, always the product of the radiant sun, remains uncontaminated by the mud.

So it is with man, who is ever the expression of God. He could never become sinful, sick, or dead. His identity is the reflection of God, and he never takes on the nature of matter or mortal mind. He is of God; he is at one with God. His characteristics are of God, not of false material sense.
