Notices

Quite frequently checks and money orders are received by the Publishing Society with nothing to indicate whether the remittance is to be applied to subscriptions, advertising, or Journal cards, to mention a few of our accounts. This means that sometimes days are spent trying to find out where the money should be applied, and in the end, perhaps, the sender has to be asked for further information. It will enable us to handle orders more promptly and correctly if instructions always accompany remittances.

In accordance with the procedure which has been followed in recent years, after a period of service in the lecture work, members of The Christian Science Board of Lectureship are eligible to retire for a year or longer in order that they may devote their time and attention particularly to the study and practice of Christian Science. Those who have made arrangements to retire from the lecture work during the year beginning July 1, 1938, are:

Richard J. Davis
Miss Margaret Murney Glenn
Judge Samuel W. Greene
Francis Lyster Jandron
James G. Rowell
