It is apparent to the Christian Science workers at the Tehachapi Institution that many of the inmates are desirous of learning something of the nature of divine Love and its application. Services are held in the chapel the first and third Sundays of each month at half past nine in the morning, following the order of service for branch churches given in the Manual of The Mother Church, with the exception of the collection. Appreciation and gratitude are evidenced by the inmates in attendance.

A Thanksgiving Day service was held in the chapel on Thanksgiving morning. Testimonies expressing gratitude were given by a number of the inmates.

Two Christian Science lectures have been delivered. Both of these lectures were given in the morning and were well attended. After the first lecture an inmate stated, "This was greatly appreciated and we are looking forward to another lecture in the near future."
