In your publication of February 10, mention is made of "Pre-Easter Season Ushered in with Lenten Observances," and the Christian Science church is mentioned among several other churches as holding special meetings and service on Ash Wednesday to mark the beginning of Lent.

We appreciate that mention is made of a service held in the Christian Science church on Wednesday evening, but would request space in your paper to make the following correction. The Wednesday evening meeting held weekly in Christian Science churches throughout the world is a testimony meeting, wherein Christian Scientists are privileged publicly to express gratitude for healings in Christian Science.

The Sunday services throughout the year cover twenty-six different subjects, but no special observances or festivities are held.
