have been innumerable instances of the beneficial results of acknowledging the power of God to heal men of disease, protect them from disaster, and deliver them from danger.

an important part gratitude plays in the lives of Christian Scientists! While the gratitude we feel may never be fully expressed in words, yet it is right for us to voice it at the right time, that others may be blessed.

An article entitled "Physical Culture," which appeared in your issue of January 8, has just come to my notice.
In your issue of September 19 there was a reference to Christian Science which was kindly, and which Christian Scientists appreciate.
In your report of an address on the problem of pain, given by the Provost of Bradford, a reference was made to the teachings of Christian Science.
A recent report in the Varsity gives a certain doctor's opinion of Christian Science which does not stand the test of examination.
It is a pleasure to be with you this evening at your kind invitation to give you such information as I may with reference to Christian Science, its background, inception, and history.
Human
experience sometimes seems to justify the belief that anticipation of evil is more natural than expectancy of good.
The
question of production is prominent in human thought both in regard to its quality, its lack or surplus, and its distribution.
