I have been a member of The Mother Church for three years. My work has stationed me in many different places, and this is the first time since I became a member that I have been located where there is a branch church. I am fully appreciating this opportunity to attend church services. Possibly someone might be helped by knowing the type of service I enjoyed for the previous eighteen months. A friend and I read our service in our hotel room at eleven o'clock on Sunday morning. We alternated assuming the responsibility of preparation and reader. No part of the service was omitted. The collection was sent quarterly to The Mother Church. Later, when alone, I followed the same course, and finally, for several months, two friends joined me. Services were then held in my apartment, where we used the piano to accompany the hymns. Mrs. Eddy has quoted in "Miscellaneous Writings" (p. 102) the statement, "One on God's side is a majority." This great truth applies to church services as well as to daily problems.

In two instances, when applying for positions, I have sought help from a practitioner. My right place has been found each time. The last time two small, meaningful words served as the guide. They were, "Love more." When one starts hunting for places to apply these words in daily business contacts, the result is almost miraculous.

Undesirable characteristics and unsatisfactory business relationships have been overcome. Two years ago my work took me to six outdoor youth camps. All of these camp sites but one were located in wooded places. At previous camps of like nature I had been infected with what the doctors called ivy or oak poisoning. With the help of a practitioner, I attended all of these camps without acquiring a blemish on my skin. A recent similar experience of protection from so-called influenza was also very gratifying. A friend spent two week ends in my apartment, recuperating and resting; I was her sole attendant, and this time I did not require help from a practitioner.
