For the past fifteen years I have been engaged in a branch of the practice of medicine. Notwithstanding my professional success under many adverse conditions, I had become an agnostic. A little over two years ago I was led into the study of Christian Science while under great duress.

My family and I had hardly made a start in the study of this great Science before error attempted to attack us quite vigorously. It is because of my gratitude for victories to date that I wish to add my testimony, hoping that others who are journeying from sense to Soul may profit as we have from testimonies of demonstration.

We had not, as I have said, been studying Science more than a few weeks when one of the children, aged two, was suddenly stricken with some peculiar malady which caused him to lose consciousness and become apparently lifeless in his mother's arms. A practitioner was immediately called. Two older children declared the truth by singing aloud their newly learned hymns from the Christian Science Hymnal. Within two hours the child was resting comfortably. The healing was immediate and complete.
