Please let me extend my thanks to a columnist of the Star-News who said, in your issue of December 31, that "behind the claims of out friends the Christian Scientists ... is a profound scientific truth." These words are appreciated, but I regret that the item mistakenly associated Christian Scientists with another group whose teachings are redically different from those of Christian Scientists.

Christian Science is a renaissance of primitive Christianity. In other words, Christian Science is based on inspired truths of the Bible. The healing works of Christian Scientists are accomplished by the spiritually mental method taught and practiced by Christ Jesus, which was revealed to Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of this religion. These healings are in strict accord with the Master's demand and promise, "He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also."
