It is with joy that I join others in testifying that Christian Science brings health, protection, and happiness into our lives. The witnessing of many healings has given me a firm conviction that all things are possible to God.

Over forty years ago my mother was healed of a so-called incurable disease. After this healing she lived a long, happy life in the service of Christian Science. At the time she passed on, I was comforted and very quickly healed by the realization that Life is without beginning and without end, and man is at-one with this Life.

At one time, while I was studying the Lesson-Sermon on "Mind" in the Christian Science Quarterly, the unfoldment came to me that nothing unlike good can cling to God's idea, man, for like produces like. No inaction in the form of slow business can affect man, for he is under the control of the one Mind. As Mrs. Eddy says in Science and Health (p. 283), "Mind is the source of all movement, and there is no inertia to retard or check its perpetual and harmonious action." Throughout the day this idea was uppermost in my thought, and when my husband returned home I learned that a new position had been offered to him. Following this, several other opportunities came to his attention. With the help of a practitioner we felt God's guiding hand in making the right decision. This change of position proved to be a decided step forward and has led on to a new field of activity. The experience taught me the importance of listening to healing thoughts, taking them into our consciousness and holding on to them.
